Insituform Technologies, Inc. in Batesville, MS is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead approximately 60 production staff on second shift in a climate-controlled facility.

You will drive safety, quality, and production performance, overseeing activities across Felting, Coating, Shipping, and Warehousing as needed. The role requires strong leadership, a focus on continuous improvement, and hands-on training to develop technical skills and engagement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and leadership experience.
• 35 years of progressive leadership and performance management experience in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop employees while driving accountability and performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Basic math and mechanical aptitude, including the ability to interpret measurements and perform simple machine set-ups.
• Ability to work 10+ hour shifts (2nd shift) and weekends; coverage may include 1st shift as needed.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations, leading a team of approximately 60 production employees to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with PPE requirements and regulatory standards.
• Monitor production workflows, prioritize work, and optimize efficiency to meet schedules and targets.
• Ensure product quality by implementing and verifying compliance with standards and procedures.
• Manage workforce performance, including scheduling, coaching, evaluations, and hiring support.
• Develop and train employees to improve skills, engagement, and productivity.
• Maintain accurate production documentation including labor hours, material usage, and inventory.
• Drive continuous improvement via lean initiatives and 5S housekeeping.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to meet objectives and customer requirements.
• Manage departmental resources and budgets while maintaining quality and efficiency.
