Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a manufacturing environment with 1+ year in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s/Associate degree candidates with no manufacturing experience must have at least 1+ year of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on associate development.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control processes and compliance standards (ISO, OSHA).
• Willingness to learn lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be available to work 2nd shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all associates.
• Conduct safety training, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Maintain compliance with HACCP, GMPs and sanitation protocols.
• Lead corrective actions for non-conformances and drive waste reduction and product recalls.
• Oversee daily production to meet schedules, customer specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
• Monitor labor, raw materials and equipment usage for cost-effective operations.
• Maintain accurate production records and report status to management.
• Act as a liaison between production and engineering, quality assurance and supply chain.
