Job summary

Johnson Matthey in Devon, PA is seeking a Maintenance Shift Supervisor to lead plant maintenance teams, ensure safe operation, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet operational priorities while upholding JM safety procedures.

You will supervise, troubleshoot and guide preventive maintenance programs, while driving continuous improvement to maximize equipment reliability and adherence to union guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with maintenance and supervisory experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership to supervise maintenance personnel.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance teams to safely maintain plant equipment, facilities and utilities per JM safety procedures and PPE.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with internal stakeholders to meet operational priorities and deliver high customer service.
• Assign work, provide technical guidance and support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of equipment issues.
• Support preventive maintenance, repairs, shutdown planning and project execution to maximize reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and improve maintenance practices.
• Promote engagement and adherence to union agreements for a fair, collaborative environment.
