Johnson Matthey in Devon, PA is seeking a Maintenance Shift Supervisor to lead maintenance teams, ensure safe operation of plant equipment, and coordinate activities with internal stakeholders to meet priorities and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent maintenance/supervisory experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Practical mechanical and/or electrical maintenance knowledge.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to coach maintenance staff.
• Proficiency with Windows and Office applications.
• Experience with SAP, CMMS and unionized workforces is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Lead maintenance teams to safely maintain plant equipment, facilities and utilities per safety procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with internal stakeholders to meet priorities and service levels.
• Assign work, provide technical guidance and support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Support preventive maintenance, repairs, shutdowns and project execution for reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and raise standards.
• Promote engagement and adherence to union agreements.
