Job summary

International-Wire-Group is seeking a Plant Supervisor for the Engineered Wire facility in Cazenovia, NY. This full-time on-site role oversees production operations on the 2nd shift to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory goals.

You will coordinate with Superintendents and Plant Managers, follow Leader Standard Work, train operators, and implement Lean manufacturing methods to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must have degree or equivalent with 1–3 years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems.
• Strong communication with direct and indirect workforce.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory goals.
• Coordinate planning with Superintendents and Plant Managers to achieve objectives.
• Follow Leader Standard Work and Daily Schedule.
• Support customer requests and identify root causes of defects.
• Ensure operators are trained and certified to perform tasks.
• Provide leadership to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Lead with integrity and earn trust from operators.
• Ensure department is organized and clean.
• Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing methods.
