Job summary

International-Wire-Group is seeking a Plant Supervisor in Jordan, NY to lead production operations on site. You will ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while optimizing processes and mentoring operators.

The role requires technical or engineering education and 1–3 years of supervisory experience, with Lean manufacturing familiarity. Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field, or combination of education and supervisory experience.
• 1–3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory goals.
• Coordinate planning with Superintendents/Plant Managers to meet objectives efficiently.
• Follow Leader Standard Work and daily schedule.
• Support customer requests and identify root causes of defects.
• Ensure operators are trained and certified to perform tasks.
• Provide leadership and training to achieve company goals.
• Lead with integrity and earn respect from operators.
• Engage operators, develop skills, and foster ownership.
• Keep department organized and clean.
• Implement and maintain Lean manufacturing methods and tools.
