Job summary

The role requires a technical degree or 1–3 years supervisory experience, familiarity with Lean principles, and strong planning and communication skills; the supervisor will lead a team, train operators, and coordinate with plant management to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Technical/engineering degree or 1–3 years of supervisory manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise production operations to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory goals.
• Coordinate production activities with Superintendents and Plant Managers to achieve objectives.
• Follow Leader Standard Work and Daily Schedule.
• Support customer requests and identify root causes of defects.
• Ensure operators are trained and certified.
• Provide leadership and training to achieve company goals.
• Lead with integrity and earn respect from operators.
• Engage operators and develop their skills.
• Keep department organized and clean.
• Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing methods and tools.
