Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead hourly teams across receiving, production, and shipping. You will champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement while ensuring products move efficiently through the warehouse floor.

You will mentor associates, uphold USDA/QA standards and collaborate with maintenance and engineering to optimize labor, materials, and equipment usage for cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in manufacturing with 1+ year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on development.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and compliance standards (ISO, OSHA).
• Willingness to learn lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate hourly associates across receiving, production and shipping.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure product quality through SOPs and HACCP standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
• Provide regular updates to management on production status and improvements.
