Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team. You will plan, assign work, and uphold safety, quality, and efficiency while guiding teams with the Production Manager.

You will embody our mission and drive continuous improvement in daily operations. The role requires 5+ years as a production leader in manufacturing, strong computer skills, and the ability to translate production data into actionable improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Production Leader/Shop Leader.
• Experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with ERP software, Assembly management software, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to create and adhere to production processes and deliverables.
• Ability to interpret and relay production data and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Balances safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale to achieve positive results.
• Provides leadership and supervision to attain high levels of employee achievement and retention.
• Confirms compliance with Safety and Quality standards.
• Leads a safe, organized workplace with TPS Environment.
• Records daily KPIs and updates reports; summarizes at shift end.
• Coaches and develops employees; resolves issues through problem solving.
• Performs performance appraisals and provides real-time feedback.
• Coordinates with upstream departments to ensure timely shipments.
• Manages production support systems; maintains scrap and inventory data.
