Employment Solutions of New York, Inc. is assisting in finding a 2nd shift Production Supervisor for a manufacturing client in Farmington, CT. This direct-hire opportunity offers a 2:30 pm–11:00 pm shift with a salary range of $60k–$80k per year.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and hands-on experience with extrusion lines. You will lead a production team, monitor line status, and ensure product quality while coordinating with operations leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to perform arithmetic and algebra to high school level.
• Proficient in writing reports and basic MS Office usage.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Extrusion experience with twin-screw extruder is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nd shift production team and coordinate with operators.
• Monitor equipment status and adjust process settings to meet specs.
• Ensure production quality and handle deadlines.
• Communicate with VP of Operations as liaison.
• Enforce plant and corporate policies.
