Job Title: PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Department: Operations

Reports To: Plant Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Backup: Plant Manager or Bottling Supervisor

Salary: $66,100-$82,600

SUMMARY: The Production Supervisor is responsible for the overall operations of the bottling, bulk, and scheduling.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  1. Analyze company Overall Equipment Effectiveness policies, including materials and logistics.
  2. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and plant-wide safety programs.
  3. Ensure customer satisfaction through preventive policies and continuous product quality improvements.
  4. Maintain plant sanitation and quality standards in accordance with federal, state, local, and company requirements.
  5. Manage assets and ensure inventory accuracy.
  6. Ensure adherence to applicable quality standards, manufacturing standards, and GMPs.
  7. Oversee the development, implementation, and adherence of SOPs to improve product quality and efficiency.

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education experience preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2–5 years of related management experience in food processing, bottling, liquid filling/blending, or consumer goods manufacturing/packaging.
  • 3–5 years supervising a team of 6 or more in a manufacturing environment.
  • 1–3 years experience with Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Maintenance, Transportation, Packaging, and Safety.
  • Experience with Microsoft AX and/or SAP is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Organized and results-driven.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a good work attitude.
  • Requires continuous mental and visual attention, involving repetitive or diversified work requiring constant alertness.
  • Physical requirements include continuous standing, walking, reaching, and working in extreme temperatures, heights, and exposure to dust, gases, fumes, and chemicals.
  • Intermittent crouching, stooping, pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting/lowering up to 50 pounds without assistance or 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Must be able to perform on-call duties on any shift and work overtime on short notice.
  • Willingness to work long-term in temporary assignments on any shift to maintain manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to work in a hot environment and exposure to noise.
