Job Title: 2nd Shift Production Supervisor

Location: Bethlehem, PA

Job Description: The Powders Operations role at PennPak Solutions is a “hands on” operations and management position. This position plays a key role in planning and developing production powder lines. This position will also be materially involved with hands-on operating, problem solving, product quality, maintaining, and managing production powder lines and supporting equipment. This is a great opportunity for an individual that enjoys project and operating responsibility from conceptual ideas and planning, to building the line, specifying & sourcing equipment, coordinating installations with facilities, managing the start-up, operation, and production results.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate daily operations for the 2nd shift, ensuring smooth production processes.
2. Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 20 members to meet performance and quality standards.
3. Monitor production schedules, workflows, and resources to meet deadlines and efficiency targets.
4. Uphold company policies, safety protocols, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance.
5. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in collaboration with other departments.
7. Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback and development opportunities.
8. Maintain accurate records of production activities, incidents, and performance metrics.
9. Plan and maintain production schedules, material requirements, and other operating needs.
10. Promote and enforce good GMPs and food safety initiatives.
11. Position reports to Director of Operations.
12. Other duties and functions may be assigned.

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
2. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
3. Knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
5. Proficiency in basic computer applications and production tracking systems.
