Job summary

LeoForce, a food packaging company, seeks a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in Stockton, CA to lead the second shift and ensure production runs smoothly and safely. You will oversee the production team, enforce SOPs and GMP, and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and SPC implementations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years in a supervisory manufacturing role, with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of SOPs, GMP, and SPCs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/diagrams.
• Proven leadership with ability to motivate teams and drive results.
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work second shift and adapt schedule as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production team during the second shift.
• Ensure SOPs and GMP compliance at all times.
• Oversee SPC implementation and data analysis for improvements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Lead team meetings, provide feedback, and coach staff.
• Train new hires and develop existing team members.

We are on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced, and motivated 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be responsible for ensuring that our production operations run smoothly and efficiently during the second shift. Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of the production team during the second shift.
• Ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) at all times.
• Overseeing the implementation of Statistical Process Control (SPC) strategies and analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documents to ensure production accuracy.
• Conducting regular team meetings, providing feedback, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Training new team members and providing ongoing coaching and development opportunities for existing staff.
• Collaborating with other shift supervisors and management to ensure seamless transitions between shifts and consistency in production standards and practices.
• Addressing and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the second shift.
• Ensuring safety protocols are adhered to and promoting a safety-first culture within the team.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of SOPs, GMP, and SPCs.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and diagrams.
• Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to work during the second shift and flexibility to adjust schedule as needed.
