Jobot is seeking a dynamic 2nd Shift Production Supervisor in Stockton, CA to lead a fast-paced manufacturing team. This permanent, full-time role requires ensuring production operations run smoothly on the second shift, with emphasis on quality and safety.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in supervision, strong knowledge of SOPs, GMP, and SPC, and excellent leadership and communication skills. Bilingual Spanish is highly preferred for this position.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the production team on the 2nd shift.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, GMP and SPC practices.
• Oversee SPC data analysis for continuous improvement.
• Read blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure accuracy.
• Hold regular team meetings, provide feedback and develop staff.
• Coach new hires and support ongoing team development.
• Coordinate with other shifts and management for smooth transitions.
• Address issues and conflicts during the shift.
• Promote a safety-first culture and enforce safety protocols.

We are on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced, and motivated 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be responsible for ensuring that our production operations run smoothly and efficiently during the second shift. Responsibilities:

• 1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of the production team during the second shift.
• 2. Ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) at all times.
• 3. Overseeing the implementation of Statistical Process Control (SPC) strategies and analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement.
• 4. Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documents to ensure production accuracy.
• 5. Conducting regular team meetings, providing feedback, and fostering a positive work environment.
• 6. Training new team members and providing ongoing coaching and development opportunities for existing staff.
• 7. Collaborating with other shift supervisors and management to ensure seamless transitions between shifts and consistency in production standards and practices.
• 8. Addressing and resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the second shift.
• 9. Ensuring safety protocols are adhered to and promoting a safety-first culture within the team.

Qualifications:

• 1. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
• 3. In-depth knowledge of SOPs, GMP, and SPCs.
• 4. Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and diagrams.
• 5. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
• 6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• 7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred.
• 8. The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• 9. Willingness to work during the second shift and flexibility to adjust schedule as needed.
