Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking a production operator to support extrusion or injection molding lines, trimming, packing, and inspection. You will read schedules, maintain cycle times, and ensure products meet quality and lot information requirements.

The role requires basic math, color discernment, and ability to stand for long shifts. HS diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years in a related field are preferred. Safety and teamwork are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; training or certification in relevant skill or trade preferred.
• 1-2 years' experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion or injection molding lines and support weathering, trimming, inspection, and packing.
• Read production schedules and perform assigned tasks.
• Inspect, feed, and pack product for WIP or finished goods.
• Maintain standard production cycles on nonrobotic molding machines.
• Identify defects, trim parts, and assemble molded components.
• Ensure lot information is printed on each product.
• Assemble and label boxes; notify supervisor of issues.
• Complete production documentation and follow safety policies.
