Job summary

Westlake Chemical Corporation seeks a dependable packaging operator to join our manufacturing team. The role ensures only quality-approved product is packaged, from extrusion or molding through trimming, inspection and packing, keeping lines running smoothly to meet customer expectations.

You will work 8–12 hour shifts, read production schedules, perform basic math, distinguish colors, and complete required paperwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and relevant trade training preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure only quality-approved product is packaged for customers.
• Inspect, pack and label WIP and finished product.
• Read production schedules and perform work as assigned.
• Notify supervisor of safety, quality or equipment issues.
• Complete production documentation and move/box parts as required.
• Work eight to twelve-hour shifts and maintain standard work cycles.
