Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking a production-focused team member in Michigan to ensure quality-approved product is packaged for customers. You will operate extrusion or injection molding, weathering, trimming, inspection and packing to keep lines running efficiently and meet customer expectations.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years in a relevant field, basic math, color discrimination, and the ability to read and complete paperwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years' experience in a relevant field.
• Must perform basic math functions.
• Distinguish colors visually.
• Must be able to wear PPE and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedule boards and perform work as assigned by shift supervisor.
• Inspect, feed, and/or pack product for WIP or finished product.
• Maintain standard production cycles on nonrobotic molding machines.
• Detect quality defects in molded parts and trim/assemble as needed.
• Ensure product has proper Lot Information printed on each item.
• Complete production documentation and report issues to supervisor.
