Job summary

Westlake is seeking a production associate to ensure only quality-approved product is packaged for customers. You will operate extrusion or molding processes, perform weathering, trimming, inspection, and packing while keeping lines running efficiently to meet customer expectations.

The role requires basic math, color recognition, and the ability to stand for 8–12 hours. A high school diploma and 1–2 years in a related field are preferred, with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Must perform basic math functions.
• Must distinguish colors visually.
• Able to stand 8–12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedule boards and perform work as assigned by shift supervisor.
• Inspect, feed, and/or pack product for WIP or finished goods.
• Maintain standard production cycles on nonrobotic molding machines.
• Detect quality defects, trim the molded part and assemble as needed.
• Ensure Lot Information is printed on each product.
• Build/assemble boxes and attach appropriate labels.
• Notify supervisor of any safety, quality, mechanical, or material issues.
• Complete production documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
• Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility.
