Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Production Operator for the 2nd shift in Walker, MI. You will load parts into automated assembly using PLEX, document production, and ensure conformance with quality checks.

Responsibilities include recording results, escalating issues, maintaining organization, and supporting audits. 18+ with English fluency and HS diploma required; 6 months manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to stand for 8-10 hours a day and perform essential functions.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to safely perform duties.
• 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
• May require lifting up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load component parts into automated assembly and document production.
• Record inspection results and non-conformances.
• Escalate quality or machinery issues to Team Leaders/Supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support internal and external audits as needed.
• Identify opportunities for quality and process improvements.
• Cross train on various work centers as required.
• All other duties as assigned.
