Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Holland, MI is seeking a Production Operator for our 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 10:30 PM) at Plant 4. You will load component parts into automated assembly, record production, and follow check sheets and work instructions to ensure quality and efficiency.

You’ll maintain a clean work area, document issues, and participate in audits and continuous improvement. 6 months manufacturing experience preferred; high school diploma required; basic computer skills and teamwork a must.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret operator instructions and quality sheets.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Load component parts into automated assembly per instructions.
• Record production data and pack per instruction; generate labels and document issues.
• Escalate machinery issues and poor-quality parts to leads and supervisors.
• Ensure all products comply with check sheets and work instructions; maintain clean, organized area.
• Document inspection results and non-conformances; support audits as needed.
• Continuously identify opportunities for quality and process improvements; cross-train as needed.
