Job summary

CJ Schwan's in Erie, NY is hiring for a 2nd shift Production Associate. Starting pay is $23.00 - $25.00 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential. Hours are 2:30pm - 12:00am.

This full-time role is in a food manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement. You will set up, pre-run, and perform quality checks on equipment, operate line speeds, document downtime and HACCP forms using SAP, and assist maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

• Set up, pre-run and perform quality checks on equipment to ensure proper startup.
• Operate and control line speeds, batch formulas and production rates; start/stop equipment as needed.
• Perform light maintenance and assist maintenance with repairs and service tasks.
• Complete downtime logs and HACCP forms using SAP per SOPs and safety training.
• Disassemble, clean and reassemble production lines/equipment for sanitation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, pre-run, and perform quality checks on equipment to ensure proper production startup.

• Perform light maintenance and preventative maintenance on equipment; assist maintenance team with repairs.
