Job summary

Schwan's Company in Erie, PA is seeking a Maintainer Operator/Shift Lead for the 2nd shift. You will set up, run, and inspect equipment, control line speeds, and perform preventative maintenance in a food manufacturing environment. Strong documentation and adherence to HACCP and SAP processes are required.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of related experience. Flexible hours, potential overtime, and weekend shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to operate multiple machines safely with minimal supervision and obtain necessary production specifications.
• Adaptability to flexible work hours based on production demands, including potential overtime and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, pre-run, and perform quality checks on equipment to ensure proper production startup.
• Operate and control line speeds, batch formulas, and production rates; start and stop equipment as needed.
• Perform light maintenance and preventative maintenance on equipment; assist maintenance team with repairs and service tasks.
• Complete all required documentation, including downtime logs and HACCP forms, using SAP and in accordance with SOPs and safety training.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble production lines and equipment as needed for sanitation and maintenance.
