CJ Schwan's in Deer Park, TX is hiring for a 2nd shift production operator in a food manufacturing plant. Starting pay is $19.75 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. This full-time role offers opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will set up and pre-run equipment, control line speeds, perform quality checks, and complete paperwork using SAP SOPs. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied temperatures, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold/hot environments.
• Able to stand for long periods and work overtime or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper start-up.
• Control line speeds and production rates; start/stop equipment safely.
• Perform quality checks and ensure product quality and safety.
• Complete required paperwork (downtime, HACCP) using SAP SOPs.
