Job summary

Beacon EmbeddedWorks in Eden Prairie, MN, is seeking a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead a Manufacturing Team on 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 10 hours). You will supervise Production Associates, ensure quality, safety, and efficiency, and coordinate with other teams to meet schedules in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

The role requires Lean manufacturing knowledge, ERP proficiency, and the ability to train, motivate, and assess staff; SMT and test exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of supervisory experience in manufacturing
• Fundamental knowledge of ERP systems
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of the electronics manufacturing
• High proficiency with Microsoft PC based (Outlook, Excel, Word) software
• Excellent communication skills. Fluent in English; written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the activities of employees engaged in production of printed circuit assemblies.
• Supervises, trains, and motivates personnel within the work group.
• Ensures adherence to Beacon’s quality system and safety requirements.
• Manages shift staffing, production schedules, and equipment utilization.
• Works in SMT or Test as needed.
