Job summary

Apex International in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Production Technician for the 2nd shift to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment to meet schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role is onsite and may include Saturday work based on business needs.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, changeovers, PM tasks, line coordination, and adherence to 5S and Lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school or GED is required.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of maintenance, repair, or set-up experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and perform changeovers.
• Set up, troubleshoot, and operate equipment to meet schedules.
• Assist setup team with RCOs and cleaning activities.
• Operate fillers, cappers, labelers, pumps, coders, case erectors, and more.
• Ensure timely changeovers with focus on first-pass quality.
• Hook up totes, tanks, and pumps as required.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Perform and document PM activities (belts, gaskets, lubrication).
• Perform minor repairs and report major issues promptly.
• Clean, sanitize, inspect, and stage parts for changeovers.
• Follow sanitation and cGMP standards.
