Qualifications

• College education preferred.
• Minimum 10 years manufacturing experience in chemical industry.
• 5 years’ supervisor experience in chemical industry preferred.
• Strong leadership, influencing, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Problem solving to resolve equipment, scheduling, quality, safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and coordinates all activities involving their specific manufacturing department(s).
• Assist in execution of production plans and the deployment of personnel in the manufacturing operation to drive safety, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with production planning to optimize efficiency and manpower.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure zero lost time accidents.
• Conduct yearly performance evaluations.
• Train operational employees on job content, safety, regulatory and customer requirements.
