Job summary

Sonoco in Jefferson, TX is seeking a capable Production Shift Supervisor to lead safety, quality and productivity on the assigned shift. You will oversee about 60 team members, ensure compliance with EPA/OSHA, coordinate scheduling, and drive cost-effective manufacturing.

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience; bilingual English/Spanish preferred; strong communication, analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety teams and programs on assigned shift to prevent injuries.
• Supervise production activities for approximately 60 team members.
• Schedule shift employees and cover vacations/absences.
• Execute production schedule to meet customer demands and minimize costs.
• Ensure production documentation and quality checks are completed accurately.
• Train, direct and mentor shift employees with diverse backgrounds.
• Provide coaching and develop employees; discipline as needed.
• Maintain productive employee relationships and safety culture.
