Job summary

Southern Champion Tray, LP is seeking a Shift Production Lead for the 2nd shift at our Mansfield, TX plant. You will oversee safety, setup, quality and operations across all production areas, coordinating with the Shift Supervisor and team to meet schedule demands.

The role requires 5+ years in production/operations, experience with production machinery, and the ability to lead others. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive production and operations experience including operation of various production machinery.
• Folding carton industry experience and experience leading or supervising others preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety, setup, quality and operations of all production areas and coordinate with the shifts to ensure smooth transitions.
• Communicate production scheduling changes to team members and support across departments to reduce setup times.
• Lead or assist with troubleshooting, equipment adjustments and problem resolution to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Oversee break schedules and ensure proper coverage, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
