Responsibilities

• Teach and lead safety processes and best manufacturing practices for the assigned shift.
• Coordinate production scheduling on shift to meet customer demands and manage overtime.
• Direct shift in continuous improvement initiatives using tools like SPS, 6 Sigma, Kaizen and lean manufacturing.
• Build and maintain productive relationships to foster employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Provide direction, training, and development of hourly employees on the shift; discipline as needed.
• Identify and implement capital projects to improve operational performance and communication across shifts.
