Job summary

Southern Champion Tray, LP is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. The role oversees a production team, coaching, training, and problem solving to meet daily production targets with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities include managing staffing, timecards, and performance reviews, while collaborating with Department Managers to optimize workflow and resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment including a minimum of two (2) years serving in a leadership capacity.
• Experience in corrugated, paper, or folding carton industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; will consider experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficient in MS Office applications - Word, Outlook, Excel.
• Forklift operation experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises safety, quality, productivity, and team relations to achieve positive results across the site.
• Maintains and improves production efficiencies, minimizes overtime, downtime and repair expenses.
• Partners with Department Manager on scheduling, staffing and resource needs; communicates updates to stakeholders.
• Promotes quality standards and compliance with SCT’s Quality Program, 5S and Food Safety.
