Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) in Butler, IN to lead daily operations and ensure safety, quality, and productivity on the 2:00 pm–10:30 pm shift. You will mentor a team of 30–70, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with other departments for timely product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years equivalent experience.
• Proven leadership ability.
• Hands-on leader with sense of urgency.
• Excellent coaching and teambuilding skills.

• Self-motivated.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience implementing lean initiatives and cost reduction skills.
• Experience with E21 or similar ERP system preferred.
• Understanding of the daily scheduling process preferred.
• Strong ability to drive change.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of approximately 30-70 associates, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Lead and mentor associates, promoting teamwork and growth in a dynamic environment.
• Champion safety and environmental initiatives to promote a secure workplace.
• Maintain a strong emphasis on quality and customer service excellence.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the team.
• Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Assist in the successful launch of new products.
• Manage resources effectively to achieve departmental goals.
• Enforce company policies and procedures consistently.
