Job summary

Allegion is seeking an Operations Supervisor (2nd Shift) in Indianapolis to lead a manufacturing team, drive safety, quality, and productivity using Lean tools and standard work. You will plan daily production activities and ensure on‑time material flow to fulfill customer orders, while maintaining ISO and EHS compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, a related Bachelor’s degree, and proven ability to develop people and engage teams in

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop people.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to write reports and procedures.
• Ability to analyze information and present to groups across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20–40 hourly associates to meet production and order fulfillment targets.
• Engage workforce in continuous improvement of key metrics.
• Utilize lean tools to eliminate waste and lead Kaizen events when applicable.
• Write, implement and improve standard work and daily production plans.
• Ensure ISO and quality standards are followed and production is compliant with EHS procedures.
• Develop staff through training and performance management; cross‑functional collaboration with suppliers.
