Job summary

CyberCoders seeks a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Montebello, CA. You will lead a sheet metal/extruded product team, drive Lean improvements, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

This role emphasizes coaching, scheduling, and performance management to achieve customer requirements. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing with supervisory experience and a strong Lean background, along with ERP/MRP familiarity and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma or associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience with supervisory responsibility; sheet metal/extruded products preferred.
• Lean tools experience (5S, Kaizen, root cause analysis) and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 2nd shift staff: scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
• Meet production targets, quality standards and on-time delivery while controlling costs.
• Apply Lean practices to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Monitor KPIs (yield, cycle time, uptime) and address variances with corrective actions.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance; lead safety meetings.
• Coordinate with maintenance/engineering to troubleshoot equipment and plan PMs.
• Manage material flow and communicate needs to planning/purchasing.
• Train operators; ensure documentation and proper shift handovers.
• Collaborate across shifts, quality and engineering on improvements and new products.
