Job summary

CPS Inc. in Elk Grove Village is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee a high-volume metal fabrication and roll forming department.

You will lead a team of 75+ employees, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and ensure OSHA and company standards are met. The role requires 5+ years of manufacturing leadership, strong mechanical aptitude, experience with production machinery, and bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience (metal fabrication/roll forming preferred).
• Proven leadership of large teams (75+ employees).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with manufacturing machinery.
• Skilled in safety compliance, process optimization, and data analysis.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop production staff to ensure efficient operations and team performance.
• Manage daily production activities, including machine setup, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
• Enforce safety standards and conduct root cause analysis to resolve production issues.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for cost, quality, and efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and customer requirements.
• Use Pilot/AS400 and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, scheduling, and performance tracking.
