Job summary

Dessert Holdings in Aurora, CO is seeking a Production Lead to supervise a food manufacturing line and ensure safe, high-quality production of desserts. You will oversee start-ups, line changeovers, and daily operations while maintaining GMP, SQF, and HACCP standards.

You will coach 10–40 team members, manage quality checks, and track KPIs to minimize downtime and waste. This role requires strong English/Spanish communication and a hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment and/or leadership role.
• Ability to read, write, and complete production documentation in English or Spanish.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with batch sheets, formulas, and specifications.
• Basic equipment knowledge including operation and first-level troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety rules and perform shift safety checks.
• Lead 10–40 employees to meet hourly and daily production goals.
• Maintain production documentation and system entries (D365, eMaintenance).
• Coordinate line changes, start-ups, and handoffs with supervision.
• Monitor KPIs such as efficiency, throughput, and downtime; escalate issues as needed.
