Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Production Shift Manager for the 2nd shift in Aurora, CO. You will lead the production shift, drive standard work, and partner with supervisors to maximize uptime, safety, and quality.

The role reports to the Assistant Plant Manager and emphasizes zero accidents, defects, and unplanned downtime. The position offers a competitive $90,000–$110,000 salary range with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, vacation, holidays, and retirement contributions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years leadership experience in a related industry.
• Proven manufacturing leadership with process-oriented operations.
• High school diploma; technical/engineering degree preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma training/certifications preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Coaches, counsels, mentors, and develops first-level supervisors and staff.
• Ensure safety programs compliance and foster a strong safety culture.
• Direct and develop a diverse, high-performing team to meet goals.
• Translate plant goals to all levels with aligned performance data.
• Identify and mitigate scheduling issues to avoid delays.
• Define actions to improve safety, efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Achieve KPIs for on-time delivery, productivity, and quality.
• Ensure cross-training of teams and accountable for results.
• Support staff development and performance feedback.
• Apply continuous improvement tools to reduce losses and improve reliability.
