Job summary

Traka Group is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement. You will supervise production teams, coordinate daily activities, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

You will develop staff, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to policies while coordinating with Quality, Maintenance, and Materials teams to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's preferred.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing or production experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality systems is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop production employees and team leaders.
• Manage daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Monitor staffing, scheduling, attendance, overtime, and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot production, quality, and equipment issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support materials planning, inventory flow, and on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and cost savings.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development support.
• Maintain production records, KPI tracking, and workforce data.
• Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Materials, and Operations teams to achieve objectives.
