Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 2 for the 2nd shift at our North Brunswick Township, NJ site. The role involves operating the ARPAC packing line, moving window units to pallets, and performing quality checks against standards.

The candidate will palletize by type/size, ensure accurate counts, and adhere to safety guidelines while contributing to a clean 5S work environment.

Qualifications

• Must lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for the duration of the shift.
• Cross-train and rotate across various workstations.
• Basic understanding of machinery operation and production processes.
• Ability to measure lengths to ¼ inch.
• Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail to inspect products for quality and damages.
• Ability to read and interpret productivity reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate ARPAC / Packing machine.
• Lifting and transferring window units from conveyor into pallets or shipping carts.
• Perform quality checks on windows and identify defects or deviations.
• Sort and palletize by type and size; wrap as needed.
• Ensure accurate counting upon palletizing and proper storage.
• Move pallets/carts in and out of production areas using appropriate tools.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform 5S and housekeeping; downtime duties during line stoppages.
