Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 1 for the 2nd shift in Bryan, TX. You will operate production equipment, assemble components, and ensure quality throughout the manufacturing process.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. The position requires reading work orders and production schedules, interpreting basic drawings, and performing precise measurements using hand tools.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb repeatedly
• Basic reading of work orders and production schedules
• Basic math and measurement skills (fractions/decimals)
• Experience in manufacturing preferred
• Good teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and assemble components per procedures
• Fabricate and produce parts for final assembly
• Handle materials including loading/unloading and proper storage
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Perform quality checks and inspect for defects
• Read work orders and production schedules; interpret basic drawings
• Take precise measurements with measurement tools
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals
• Report equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
