Job summary

DFA in Vermont is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to support receiving, storage, and distribution of product. You will pull and stack orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and complete logs and paperwork with care.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and being able to work in a fast-paced team, communicate clearly, and perform basic math. This role may require Saturday shifts and adherence to GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute product to assist in distribution.
• Pull and stack product based on daily orders.
• Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation.
• Support preventative maintenance plans.
• Monitor product quality and report problems to mitigate safety issues.
• Complete production and quality logs.
• Furnish accurate counts on load tags.
• Ensure required paperwork is clear, legible, and accurate.

General Purpose

Perform a variety of duties in loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.

There will be some Saturday work.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform any combination of receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of product
• Pull and stack product based on daily orders
• Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
• Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation
• Support preventative maintenance plans
• Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues
• Complete production and quality logs
• Furnish accurate counts on load tags
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s
• Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Education and Experience
