Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a warehouse associate in Dallas, TX to perform loading, unloading, receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to support product flow. You will pull/stack product per orders and ensure accuracy of counts and paperwork.

Role requires teamwork, clear communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior warehouse or general work experience is preferred; English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in product distribution.
• Pull and stack product based on daily orders.
• Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation.
• Support preventative maintenance plans.
• Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues.
• Complete production and quality logs.
• Furnish accurate counts on load tags.
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out clearly and accurately with required information.
• Document information in accordance with SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Report food safety and quality issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Follow GMPs and company regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.

GENERAL PURPOSE

Perform a variety of duties in loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform any combination of receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of product
• Pull and stack product based on daily orders
• Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
• Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation
• Support preventative maintenance plans
• Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues
• Complete production and quality logs
• Furnish accurate counts on load tags
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's
• Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
