Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America seeks a Warehouse Associate to support loading, unloading and stocking materials in our Utah facility. You will pull and stack product to meet daily orders and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires teamwork, clear communication, basic math, and adherence to GMP and safety standards. High school diploma preferred; prior warehouse or production experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute tasks to assist in product distribution.
• Pull and stack product based on daily orders.
• Meet customer order specifics in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized inventory and proper rotation.
• Support preventative maintenance and safety practices.
• Complete production and quality logs with accurate counts.
• Ensure all paperwork is clear, legible, and complete.

General Purpose

Perform a variety of duties in loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.

There will be some Saturday work.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform any combination of receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of product
• Pull and stack product based on daily orders
• Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
• Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation
• Support preventative maintenance plans
• Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues
• Complete production and quality logs
• Furnish accurate counts on load tags
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s
• Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred
• Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment
