Job summary

DFA is seeking a hands-on team member for warehouse duties including loading, unloading, and moving materials at our plant/site in Texas. You will assist in receiving, storing, and distributing products to meet daily orders, maintaining organization, and supporting quality and safety initiatives.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in documentation, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior warehouse or production exposure is preferred, with potential certification requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials.
• Receive, store, and distribute tasks to assist product distribution.
• Pull and stack product based on daily orders.
• Meet customer orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain products and keep them organized and in rotation.
• Support preventive maintenance plans.
• Monitor product quality and report problems.
• Complete production and quality logs.
• Document required information clearly and accurately.

Job description

Perform a variety of duties in loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.

• Perform any combination of receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of product
• Pull and stack product based on daily orders
• Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
• Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation
• Support preventative maintenance plans
• Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues
• Complete production and quality logs
• Furnish accurate counts on load tags
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s
• Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
