Job summary

DFA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist in loading, unloading, and moving materials at our Dallas site. You will help receive, store, and distribute products, ensure accurate counts, and maintain organized stock while following GMPs and safety guidelines.

The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly, and follow directions. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; warehouse experience is a plus. Equal opportunity employer.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute tasks to assist in product distribution.
• Pull and stack product based on daily orders.
• Meet customer order specifics in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized, rotated product stock.
• Support preventative maintenance plans.
• Monitor product quality and report safety issues promptly.
• Complete production and quality logs.
• Furnish accurate counts on load tags.
• Ensure paperwork is clear and complete per SOPs.
• Document all required information.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Report food safety and quality issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Follow DFA GMPs and corporate requirements.

Job description

GENERAL PURPOSE

Perform a variety of duties in loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform any combination of receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of product
• Pull and stack product based on daily orders
• Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
• Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation
• Support preventative maintenance plans
• Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues
• Complete production and quality logs
• Furnish accurate counts on load tags
• Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
• Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's
• Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
