Job summary

Oak Farms Dairy is seeking a dependable worker to assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials around the plant and yard. Duties include pulling and stacking product according to daily orders, ensuring correct counts, and maintaining organized inventory.

The role requires teamwork, accurate record-keeping, basic math, and strong communication in English. Candidates should be able to follow directions and adhere to GMPs and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move materials as needed around plant or yard.
• Pull and stack product based on daily orders and ensure accurate counts.
• Maintain product organization and proper rotation.
• Complete production and quality logs and paperwork accurately.
• Follow GMPs and safety regulations at all times.

Job description

Perform a variety of duties in loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or work site.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• · Perform any combination of receiving, storing, and distributing tasks to assist in the distribution of product
• · Pull and stack product based on daily orders
• · Meet specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
• · Maintain keeping products separated, organized, and in good rotation
• · Support preventative maintenance plans
• · Monitor product quality frequently and report problems to mitigate safety issues
• · Complete production and quality logs
• · Furnish accurate counts on load tags
• · Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information
• · Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s
• · Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
• · Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• · Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• · Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements

• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• · High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• · Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred
• · Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment
