Job summary

Heeter Printing Co. is hiring for a 2nd shift Print Production Supervisor to lead and manage 3 pm–11 pm operations, ensuring output, quality, and safety standards are met.

The role blends printing expertise with strong leadership to guide a team in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise hourly staff, conduct turnover meetings, train and evaluate performance, monitor equipment, and ensure documentation and safety guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience making production decisions in a print environment.
• Ability to supervise in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to travel to other production locations.
• Strong safety awareness and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities to meet output, quality, and delivery goals.
• Conduct daily turnover sessions with incoming and outgoing supervisors to review schedules and jobs.
• Supervise, train, and mentor hourly production employees and evaluate performance.
• Visually inspect work in progress and finished products for standards.
• Enforce adherence to safety policies, OSHA standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Monitor machinery, coordinate with maintenance for repairs, and track log records.
