Staff Perm is seeking a Printing Press Operator for the 2nd shift in Townsend, MA. The role involves hands-on operation and maintenance of high-speed printing presses in a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities include setting up multi-color presses, performing changeovers, adjusting ink/water balance, color matching, and ensuring quality standards. 2nd shift runs 3:00pm–11:00pm with a pay rate of $23.00/hour, contingent on background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and eligible to work in the USA.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of printing experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-color sheet-fed or continuous/web presses, primarily running custom or base forms work or high-speed single-color continuous/web presses.
• Perform manual setups and changeovers including loading stock, setting paper path and stretch, mounting plates, and mixing inks.
• Adjust ink and water balance, ensure color matching, and maintain accurate register and required print attributes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform blanket changes, clean units, and adjust roller settings as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from the team manager to meet quality and service commitments.
