Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of offset printing procedures, materials, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read job specifications and select appropriate press settings and materials.
• Skillful adjustments and routine maintenance of equipment.
• Knowledge of packing pressure to achieve proper printing pressure.
• Ability to mount and align printing plates with micrometer.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain press equipment on 2nd shift.
• Perform make-ready tasks such as hanging plates and installing cylinders.
• Make color corrections to meet product quality specifications.
• Clean and maintain presses and perform minor repairs.
• Perform periodic manufacturer-recommended maintenance.
