Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an Operator/Adjuster/Inspector for Cold Heading and New Process on the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm). This role involves operating machines and performing inspections to ensure quality while supporting Lean manufacturing initiatives.

You will diagnose minor machine problems, maintain safety practices, and participate in continuous improvement activities. A high school diploma or equivalent and mechanical experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Mechanical experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and auxiliary equipment in applicable departments.
• Diagnose and remedy minor machine problems.
• Report operating difficulties to the Tool setter and assist as required.
• Ensure product quality through inspection and separation of nonconforming parts.
• Visually and dimensionally inspect products using gauges and inspection equipment.
• Meet or exceed production levels and operate machinery safely.
• Perform minor preventative maintenance tasks.
• Move products and materials using safe practices.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Keep production records and related duties.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
