Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Shelbyville, KY is hiring a Set Up Punch Operator for the 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm). You will operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean punching machinery to keep production flowing and quality high.

You will follow 6S practices, ensure products meet specifications, fill out documentation, and handle scrap and rework as needed. A High School Diploma or GED and basic tool, blueprint, math, and computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and standard work instructions.
• Basic math skills required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to read and write English; understand safety and quality instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate, change over, adjust, troubleshoot, and clean punching machines to maintain flow and meet specs.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow 6S principles.
• Ensure products meet specifications and quality standards; document results.
• Properly fill out documentation and labels; manage scrap and rework as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
